About Me

I took over the yard in may 2017, and I always provide the highest care and management for all my liveries horses.

I have completed my Level 3 diploma in horse management at Holme Lacy College and I also have my Level 3 Work-Based Horse Management. I have completed my BHS stage 2 and now working towards my BHS Stage 3. Recently in April 2018 i went on a first aid course for horses run by Severn Edge Vets which was very informative and  I am also emergency first aid trained.

I have been around horses since a very young age, and I've always had a very keen interest in horses. I have competed in all disciplines to different levels, including hunting, and I am currently competiting my home produced horse at BD Novice/Elementary consistently coming out with scores in the high 60's with the aim to get up to Medium at some point in the near future. We are already well on our way to gaining our qualification for the petplan area festivals next year at novice but we would like to gain our elementary qualification too.

I am also riding and producing other horses for the yard owner David Freeman, we buy quality horses to bring on, compete and sell in the future.

I work closely with the farrier, vets, dentist and owners to ensure the best quality care is provided for your horse whilst on Livery here with us at Silligrove. I am lucky enough to be sponsored by Julia Mottram Chartered Physiotherapist and Equine Physio, she offers discounted treatments to my liveries here at Silligrove Farm.

If you wish to discuss your horses individual needs, or would like to arrange a visit don't hesitate to get in touch.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Katie Arnold
