About Me

I took over the yard in may 2017, and I always provide the highest care and management for all my liveries horses.

I have completed my Level 3 diploma in horse management at Holme Lacy College and I also have my Level 3 Work-Based Horse Management. I have completed my BHS stage 2 and now working towards my BHS Stage 3. In April 2018 i went on a first aid course for horses run by Severn Edge Vets which was very informative and  I am also emergency first aid trained.

I have been around horses since a very young age, and I've always had a very keen interest in horses. I have competed in all disciplines to different levels, including hunting, and I am currently competiting my home produced horse at BD Elementary consistently coming out with scores in the high 60's with the aim to get up to Medium at some point in the near future. We competed in the BD petplan area festivals 2019, and got some good results just missing out on the finals at hartpury in April by one or two places. Hopefully 2020 will be our year!

I am also riding and producing other horses for the yard owner David Freeman, we buy quality horses to bring on, compete and sell in the future.

I work closely with the farrier, vets, dentist and owners to ensure the best quality care is provided for your horse whilst on Livery here with us at Silligrove.

If you wish to discuss your horses individual needs, or would like to arrange a visit don't hesitate to get in touch.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Katie Arnold
